  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers for topping (optional)

  3. Fold in the thawed hash brown potatoes and gently mix in the sliced kielbasa sausage until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the mixture into your prepared baking dish and sprinkle the reserved ½ cup cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Optionally, mix 2 tablespoons melted butter with 1 cup crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers, then scatter this crunchy mixture over the cheese.
